This year, Musselburgh Burgh Primary School ran another outstanding Freestyle Mile event. The children completed their sponsored miles on all forms of wheels and feet, including wheelchairs. They raised a fantastic £1,270 plus gift aid. What a fantastic effort and huge THANK YOU to all the children, parents and teachers involved in the event.
This year’s efforts notched up 1,340 miles and an awesome £1,500 which was matched by CMS Law making a total raised of £3,000. Massive thank you to all involved and really looking forward to beating this effort in 2019 with some eye watering goals.

This weekend the children and I cycled over one hundred cumulative miles in order to raise funds for the charity.
Please donate if you are able via our fundraising site.
Life Seekers International has now dispatched nearly 100kg of clothes and school stationery to our missionary partners in the Gambia.
The clothes are mainly children’s clothes but there are many football team shirts there also. These may potentially be held by a number of local schools to lend to the children on match day and lift the team spirit.
The shipment will enable the missionaries to share the gospel to the children and teachers.
We are looking for more clothes to send, so if you have clothes or shoes or wellies that no longer get used (and are in decent condition), we would love to send your generous donation to the poor in The Gambia and West Africa.
At their recent annual charity fund raising event, George Watson’s College raised funds for various charities. Life Seekers International was very blessed to receive £1,000 from their efforts. This will provide over 450 nets which will protect anywhere up to 2,000 children for 6 years.
Thank you so much for your generous support.
This month a mission team has been south into Senegal.

Another successful journey through the mucky mud of Drumlanrig Castle. 11 Miles and 20+ obstacles made a great event that was well supported. We managed to raise £300 in sponsorships and this was matched by CMS Cameron McKenna Nabarro taking the total to £600. Thank you for all your efforts and support !
Recently, Life Seekers International visited Longniddry Primary School to be a guest at their whole school assembly. Here we gave an informative message about malaria and also a hands on demonstration of the mosquito nets, which they all enjoyed.
Afterwards, the Primary 6 and Primary 7 classes had classroom chats with us for Q&A and more hands on time with the net. Life Seekers International would like to thank the children and staff of Longniddry Primary School for giving us this opporutnity to come along and be a part of their day. We hope we inspired the children to think beyond their own experiences and whet their appetites for some fundraising in the near future.
Longniddry Primary School donated £250 to the work of Life Seekers International and are looking to continue their support in the new school term by holding a Cycle Skate Skoot event.
Hi all Just a quick note to say that the nets sent a few months back have finally cleared customs. Our partners, The Evangelical Church of The Gambia, has many ministries already making enquires for nets in preparation for their summer outreach missions. We will, as ever, continue to bring photos and updates as we know about them. Thank you for all your donations that make this possible.
We have updated the site with the latest pictures from Guinea-Bissau. The missionaries are really excited to take the nets to these West African communities. Visit our On Mission pages for Guinea-Bissau.
